Price questions

What is included in the calculator price?

Each price includes the new equipment, installation labor, a Honeywell T6 Pro thermostat, the mechanical permit and sales tax. It assumes your existing electrical, ductwork and copper line set are reused; any alterations need an in-person proposal.

What changes the price?

The brand, the system size in tons, straight-cool AC versus heat pump, an air handler located in the attic, a Nest or Ecobee thermostat upgrade, and raising the outdoor unit on a stand or wall brackets.

Is the calculator price a quote?

No. It is an estimate only. Correct sizing needs a Manual J load calculation at your home, and the final price depends on an in-home inspection. In many cases, verification lowers the final price. Increases are rare.
