Why is my AC blowing warm air?
Warm air usually means the system is not completing its cooling cycle, from causes such as a failed outdoor unit component, a refrigerant problem or a thermostat issue. We find the cause first and explain your options before any work begins.
Why is there ice on my AC lines?
Ice on the refrigerant lines is a sign of restricted airflow or a refrigerant problem. Turn the system off to let it thaw and call us so it can be diagnosed before the compressor is damaged.
Why is water leaking from my indoor unit?
Water around the indoor unit usually comes from the condensate drain. In Florida's humidity an air conditioner removes a lot of water from the air, so a blocked drain can overflow quickly, including from an air handler in the attic.
Why does my AC turn on and off so often?
Short-cycling can come from an oversized system, an airflow problem or a control issue. We diagnose the cause, and if the system is oversized we can size a replacement with a Manual J load calculation.
Should I repair or replace my AC?
It depends on the age of the system, the cost of the repair and how often it has failed. We explain both options in writing before work begins, and our price calculator shows what a replacement would cost.
